New Delhi: The government on Wednesday gave some of its top bureaucrats additional charge of some key posts. The Cabinet Appointments Committee approved the proposal to give additional charge of the post of chairman of the National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention to Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, who is serving as Secretary, co-ordination and public grievances. Srivastava also gets additional charge of the post of secretary (security) in the Cabinet Secretariat. [caption id=“attachment_2451116” align=“alignleft” width=“259”]
File photo[/caption] P.K. Malhotra, secretary in the Legal Affairs Department, gets additional charge as secretary of the Legislative Department. It also approved allocation of additional charge of the post of secretary in the ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) to Ameising Luikham, secretary in the Department of Public Enterprises. Anoop Kumar Srivastava, secretary in the Department of Border Management under the home ministry, gets additional charge of the post of secretary in the Inter State Council Secretariat. Additional charge of the post of secretary in the steel ministry was given to Anup K. Pujari, secretary in the ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises. All these officers have been given additional charge for three months or till appointment of a regular incumbent. IANS
