Aarushi murder: How ordinary citizens can suffer because of corrupt system

Kikimiki has written about ordinary citizens can suffer in the hands of the corrupt administration. What a lot of Indian citizens do no realise is that the verdict on Rajesh and Nupur Talwar opens a pandora’s box for grave corruption, mishandling and bullying by governments. It is the right of every ordinary citizen by the Constitution of India that they are innocent until proven guilty by real evidence. The average citizen has nothing but the Constitution and fair justice. Lets remember, that ordinary citizens can get into trouble because of a corrupt system like in in India. At that time one should be able to take respite if they haven’t done anything, no one should be able to indict anyone, no matter how powerful. This verdict has set a precedent that real proof linking directly to murder is not really needed as long as all circumstantial evidence points to one direction. Ask yourself, if tomorrow the police enters your house and (plants/finds) evidence which you never had access to, and presents to court as circumstantial and then indicts you as guilty without ever proving any direct link, where does it leave your freedom in this country? The Talwars may be guilty. But unless proven guilty where evidence links directly to them, they are innocent. For this trial why should an entire country’s fate change since now, dummy evidence can be implanted. Your freedom is GONE.
