The 10th season of reality show Bigg Boss is merely a week away, and the speculation around the contestants refuses to die down. This season, there is going to be a mixed bag of house mates, with equal number of celebrities and the common man/woman.

Salman Khan will host this season of Bigg Boss.

However, capturing the buzz around the show, a tentative list of contestants have been revealed.

Here's the list of contestants. For a final confirmation, tune in to Colors on 16 October for the premiere of the show.

The celebrities

According to Hindustan Times, seven celebrities have been shortlisted for Bigg Boss season 10.

Probably the two most well know faces in this tentative list is Sana Saeed and VJ Bani. The Model-anchor of MTV Roadies fame has been around for a while, even participating in shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Also a face from the Indian version of Fear Factor, but most known as her childhood role as Anjali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, is Sana Saeed, who has participated in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa  as well.

Pratyusha Banerjee's boyfriend, who has been accused of allegedly abetting her suicide, Rahul Raj Singh may be making an appearance this year on the show as well.

Filmmaker and gay-rights activist Nakshatra Bagwe is likely to be a part of the show too, along with TV actor Parth Samthaan, who plays Manik Malhotra in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Rohan Mehra is also rumoured to be on Bigg Boss 10.

The one actor who has confirmed his entry in the house is Mayur Verma from Swaragini. In an interview, he reveals, "I have been selected as a contestant for upcoming season of Bigg Boss. Last year, I had been nominated as a wild card contestant, however as it was right after my break-up with Marina (Marina Kuwar), I thought to refrain from sharing same screen space. But this time, I am very much looking forward to being on the show."

The aam aadmis/aurats

Indian Express reports that a 39 year old actor from New Delhi, Ruchika Singh will be joined by Feroz Khan, an actor-singer from Mumbai. There's also youtuber Kajol Tyagi and Jaipur based businessman Manoj Tyagi.

The list further includes Lokesh Sharma, a student from Delhi, Manveer Gurjar, a dairy owner from Noida, a radio profession from Pune, Mandira Chauhan, another actor singer from Mumbai, Nikhil Mehta, Naveen Prakash, who is a teacher from Bihar and Dev Devgn, a businessman from Punjab.

That's quite the mixed bag!
