After an emotionally tumultuous day the contestants of Colors TV's Bigg Boss 10 wake up to the Appy Fizz theme song.
This marks their 54th day in the Bigg Boss house.
While Om Swami continues cribbing about Gaurav’s captaincy, he’s quick to take a U-turn when released from jail and gives a warm hug to Gaurav as soon as he opens the jail gate. Seeing Swami change his attitude, Manveer points out that he is the most unreliable person inside the Bigg Boss house — changing sides as per his convenience.
Soon, Bigg Boss asks the contestants to nominate the second contender for captaincy from amongst Gaurav, Lopamudra and Nitibha — who will compete against Priyanka. Seeing the votes swinging in Gaurav’s direction, Lopa gets quite upset, especially with Rahul. On the other hand, Manveer and Priyanka discuss Mona’s loyalties since she also prefers Gaurav’s captaincy. With all contestants having their hearts set on Gaurav remaining the captain for a second week, the competition is set between him and Priyanka. Hearing everyone’s support for Gaurav, Lopa breaks down, and when Rahul goes to pacify her, she walks away.
In the evening, Bigg Boss announces the Appy Fizz Feel The Fizz captaincy task wherein Gaurav and Priyanka have to select four supporters each to keep them raised in the air while they’re tied to a harness. The one who remains aloft for the longest will win the captaincy. Gaurav’s team comprises Rahul, Mona, Rohan and Lopa, while Priyanka chooses Bani, Swami Om, Sahil and Nitibha. Jason and Manveer, who are a bit unwell don’t participate in the task and the latter is given the duty of being the sanchaalak or supervisor.
In a weird turn of events, Priyanka is declared the new captain of the Bigg Boss house. Earlier, as soon as the task begins, Bani gives up due to shoulder pain as a result of an old fracture and instead she starts encouraging Gaurav’s team while instigating Sahil to give up. Swami Om gets upset with Bani because of her ‘strategy’ and to provoke her says: "Your mother will die”. This upsets Bani greatly and she threatens to sabotage the task. However, Manveer stops her. After the task is complete, Swami tries to apologise to Bani but she is in no mood for excuses. She even lashes out at Manveer, Nitibha and Priyanka. When Priyanka defends herself, Gaurav steps in and makes Priyanka understand the gravity of the situation.
Bani, who is considered to be one of the strongest contenders, blasts Swami Om for crossing his limits, while the latter tries to apologise. But Bani is in no mood to forgive. She breaks down, cries, rants and in the end is seen running around the lawn, pleading with Bigg Boss to let her go home. She even bangs the exit door and yells to be let out — a sort of throwback to when a frustrated Rahul Mahajan had tried to run away from the Bigg Boss house, in the eighth season.
Later in the evening, the two teams are seen sitting separately and discussing the task. Manveer and the rest of Priyanka’s team wonder how Bani decided to support Gaurav at the last minute despite of so many disagreements between them. Bani and rest of Gaurav’s team talk about how Priyanka was so desperate to win that she was crying and pleading to be the winner.
Leaving behind the bitterness, the evening takes a sweet turn as the team of Wajah Tum Ho, including actors Sana Khan, Sharman Joshi and Gurmeet Choudhary visit the Bigg Boss house. The trio enter the house to the beats of their film’s title track bringing along a basket of brownies. The celebrity guests go on to introduce a fun game wherein each contestant has to choose a fellow housemate who is the prime reason of their happiness and feed them a brownie. While Gaurav and Bani choose each other, Mona chooses Manu, who is currently out of the show for personal reasons. Rahul chooses Lopa to make her feel better after a disagreement between them, and Manveer and Nitibha choose each other. Smiles return and relationships are mended as sweet treats make the rounds of the Bigg Boss house.
We have to wait and watch what repercussions Swami Om faces for his insensitive remark, over the weekend. As shown in the preview, the show host Salman Khan will lash out at him for this and also for peeing in the garden area in front of women. Salman will also stop calling him Swami or Baba and will address him just as 'Om'.
Further, former contestant Karishma Tanna and senior journalist Dibang will visit the house for analysis and point out how Manu’s absence from the show has brought a huge change in Mona and Manveer’s friendship with the latter giving whole-hearted support to Priyanka while Mona totally opposes his decision.
