Bigg Boss 10 Episode 25, 10 November 2016 written update: Bani becomes first captain
Bigg Boss introduces the captaincy task, where the three contenders Manu, Swami Om and Bani pose as leaders. Bani wins with a majority vote.
After the merger of Indiawale and Celebrities, Bigg Boss announces the first captaincy task Siyasat. Bani, Manu Punjabi and Swami Om make their way to confession room first and nominate themselves for the captaincy task.Manveer Gurjar regrets not making to the confession room in time and tells Mona Lisa he desperately wants to become the captain of the house.
The day starts with Swami Om walking off as he feels uncomfortable. Reason? Mona and Manu try and intimidate him with their intimacy and succeed. After yesterday’s Parda Phaash task, there is clearly a cold war on between them and the housemates wake up dancing to the tunes of ‘Tum Toh Dhokebaaz Ho’. Pulling a fast one on Swami Om, Mona and Manu try to get close to each other just to irritate him. And, adding fuel to the fire, Manveer says, “Yeh Bhartiya Parampara Ke Khilaaf hain”. Looking at Mona and Manu’s intimacy, Swami feels uncomfortable and walks off.

It may be recalled that the self-styled godman, who was keeping a hawk’s eye on his fellow contestants wrecked havoc upon his return to the house. He made some derogatory remarks about Mona, which didn’t go down well with Manveer and Manu, who lashed out at him and later decided to boycott him. Gaurav Chopra too got into a squabble with Om Swami for the first time. Not just that, the malik-sevak theme has also been scrapped and each and every housemate now has equal rights.
Later in the day, Mona is touched when Gaurav gives his share of chocolate to her. She tries to thank him with a hug however Gaurav says that her 'special someone' inside the house will not like it. Manu notices and questions Mona jokingly on why was she flirting with Gaurav. Mona narrates the entire incident to him which brings a smile on his face.
Bigg Boss introduces the captaincy task, where the three contenders Manu, Swami Om and Bani pose as leaders of three different political parties who would aim to win votes of the contestants. The trio is also given the power to punish any contestant by putting him/her in jail for breaking rules. However before the task starts, Swami Om says that he wants Mona and Manveer in the jail so that Manu loses the task. Others object Swami Om's decision by considering it invalid.
Bani tries to convince Lokesh Kumari Sharma to join her party. Lokesh tells Bani that she likes her but can't leave Swami Om as he would feel bad. However, Lokesh adds that she would think about Bani's proposal. On the other hand, Navin tries to convince Swami Om to team up with Manu and make a coalition party for a stronger support. Bani makes an effort to break the ice and apologize to Lopamudra Raut with whom she had an altercation recently. But Lopa terms Bani's apology as mere strategy and refuses to take her side. Lopa wears white garland in support of Manu.
Manu, however loses Nitibha Kaul's support after she switches to Bani's party and they end up arguing. Lokesh leaves Swami Om to support Bani too. Swami Om becomes a little paranoid. First he tells Manu that he would want to send Lokesh and Nitibha to jail. On the other hand, he tells Bani that he would be teaming up with her now. Spilling the beans about Swami Om's plan, Manveer tells everybody that Swami Om who wanted to send Lokesh and Nitibha to jail, was now busy chatting with them. When Lopa comes in support of Manveer, Swami Om tells her to stop lying. Confused and irritated, Lokesh warns Swami to not to target her unnecessarily and punish her for no reason.
Soon after, Bani is declared the winner because of maximum supporters and she’s announced the first captain of the house. Swami Om, who had earlier nominated himself for the captaincy task, eventually supported Bani, who wins six votes while Manu is short by one. However, Bani appears confused about her rights and responsibilities as a captain. Even as Manu has lost captaincy, Lopa, who had supported him, feels proud of him for his fair game.

She eventually chooses Lopa and Manveer who argue with her about the reason. And Lopa who is not on good terms with Bani is heard saying, “Bani is doing this because of personal grudges. It’s so expected from you, Bani.” The situation gets more tough for Bani when she’s asked to announce the names of two contestants, who should be going to jail. And looks like she has Manu and Manveer in mind. More drama is likely to unfold in the Bigg Boss house in the coming days.
Bigg Boss 10 Episode 23, 8 November 2016 written update: No more malik, sevaks; all contestants merge
The Bigg Boss 10 contestants are woken up at midnight to be informed that they are being merged. There will no longer be Maaliks and Sevaks.
Alia Bhatt interacts with Salman Khan, the Bigg Boss 10 contestants and reveals that Manu is her favourite contestant.
Additionally, after repeated violation of rules in the house, Bigg Boss has decided to cut down this week’s luxury budget as a punishment.
