Volkswagen India begins dieselgate recall with last gen Skoda Superb

The Volkswagen Group in India will begin the first phase of its recall on diesel vehicles, nine months after the initial announcement. The first car to be recalled is the older generation Skoda Superb which was discontinued in 2015, running the infamous 2.0-litre EA 189 diesel engine. The Skoda Superb will only receive a software update which Volkswagen claims, won’t compromise the vehicle’s performance...
