Triumph Bonneville T100 launched in India; prices start from Rs 7.78 lakh

Recently unveiled at the Intermot 2016 motorcycle show in Germany, Triumph was surprisingly quick to unveil the new Bonneville T100 in India after showing off a couple of teasers . With price tags starting from Rs 7.78 lakh, the model, comfortably sits between the Bonneville T120 and the Street Twin.  The Black model seems to not be made it to India, with Triumph simply offering the Aegean Blue and Fusion White, Intense Orange and New England White, and Jet Black options for the Indian market. https://twitter.com/IndiaTriumph/status/788273233124552704 The new classic designed bike utilises Bonneville Street Twin engine and uses the frame of the T120. The motorbike is powered by 900cc parallel-twin engine capable of churning 55PS at 5,900rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,230rpm. Some of the features include traction-control, ride-by-wire throttle, USB charging port as well as an engine immobiliser.    The instrument cluster features a gear position indicator, odometer, trip settings, service indicator, clock, fuel level and traction control settings. Other features on this new-age racer include a switchable traction control system for better rider safety and torque delivery, a torque clutch assist system and fancy new LED rear light that looks distinct.
