The new Fortuner SUV is here. Toyota announced the new version of its popular SUV with the lowest end variant starting at Rs 25.92 lakh going all the way up to 31.12 lakh ( ex-showroom Delhi). The new Fortuner comes with a revamped design and feels a lot sleeker.
The SUV is still muscular in terms of looks with wraparound projector headlamps and a prominent chrome grille. There's more chrome around the fog lamps as well as thin strips along the windows and the rear glass panel. The large wheel arches and kinked window line give the Fortuner a bold look.
Coming to the interiors, there is the addition of a large, touchscreen infotainment system and soft-touch materials in the cabin while the seats are covered in leather. As we reported earlier, the engine has seen an update. There are two engine options, now including a 2.8-litre diesel engine and a 2.7-litre petrol engine. The diesel motor produces 177 bhp and 360 Nm of torque, while the petrol engine delivers 164 bhp and 245 Nm of torque. There is a 6-speed manual as well as an automatic transmission.
