The Triumph Bonneville Bobber launched at Rs 9.09 lakh; offers 1,200 cc engine and 76 bhp of power

It’s here at last folks, the price of the Triumph Bonneville Bobber. This interpretation of a modern classic, described by the company as ‘brutally beautiful’, can be yours for just Rs 9.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The bike features a brand new chassis and frame and includes an adjustable seat as well as a mono-shock suspension. The electronic components have been hidden to not interfere with the styling and even the exhaust doesn’t interfere.    A monstrous 1,200 cc liquid-cooled Bonneville engine powers the bike. It comfortably churns out 76 bhp of power and 106 Nm of torque, that’s more than most hatchbacks sold in India. The bike weighs 228 kg and manages 24 kmpl, if that’s a concern. The fuel tank has a capacity of 9.1 litres.   The front suspension uses KYB 41 mm forks with 90 mm of travel. The rear uses a KYB monoshock with linkage and has 76.9 mm of travel. A single 310 mm disc brake on the front and a 225 mm disc brake on the back helps to bring your bike to a halt.
