A new variant of the Toyota Etios Liva has been launched in India. This variant features a dual-tone paint scheme and its price starts at Rs 5.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The car has also received a minor facelift, reports CarWale. The front grill is now black, the bumper comes with a carbon-fibre finish and you get chrome bezels on the fog lamps. CarWale adds that the car’s upper portion, including the pillars and roof, all get the all-black treatment.
This dual-tone scheme is only available in the higher end V and VX trims, however. The petrol-engined V and VX variants will sell for Rs 5.94 lakh and Rs 6.44 lakh respectively. The diesel-engined V and VX variants will sell for Rs 7.24 lakh and Rs 7.61 lakh respectively.
The interior gets the same finish as well, apparently, with the centre-console going all black. Other updates include motorised door mirrors, detachable rear headsets, three-point seat belts, airbags, ABS, etc.
Power is delivered via a 5-speed gearbox on both the diesel and petrol variants. The diesel variant uses a 1.2 litre engine that produces 79 bhp of power. The 1.4 litre petrol engine produces 67 bhp of power. The vehicle is front wheel drive.
