The Hennessey VelociRaptor has 700bhp and a lot of muscle

The Hennessey brand is back. The latest Ford F150 Raptor has got the ‘John Henessey treatment’ which has made the pickup truck even more aggressive. The VelociRaptor comes with Ford’s second generation 450bhp 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 which has been tuned and is being offered in 500, 600 and even a 700bhp model.  According to Top Gear, the 600bhp package comes with an increased 622 lb ft of torque which makes the beast hit 100kmph in just 4.2 seconds.There’s a new high-flow air induction system, Stage 1 Twin Turbo upgrade, a bigger intercooler and a remapped ECU  This version will cost $22,500 while the 700bhp model goes up to $49,500 which gets you a Stage 2 turbo kit, stainless steel turbo manifolds and wastegates and even more adjustments in intercooling and ECU.  The company is also offering two off-road packages. The first package includes VelociRaptor front and rear bumpers, bespoke LED lights, 20-inch Hennessey 10-spoke wheels, 35-inch Toyo off-road tyres, and a three-inch lift and level kit. All of this will cost a whopping $12,950. For another 10 grand the company will throw in a Texas coal-roller’s eight-inch lift kit, bigger 37-inch tyres and and all new suspension system. There are also options for a Brembo brake kit for the front and rear tyres and an LED light bar.
