According to a report, Tata Motors will be announcing a facelift version of its pickup truck Xenon. The new version is expected to go official this financial year in India or possibly in Australia. Just like the upcoming Tata Hexa , the new Xenon could also get the same engine as the Tata Safari Storme. Which means the 2.2L diesel engine with 156 PS/400 Nm torque. It is also to be noted, that it will be offered in an automatic transmission, currently it only comes in a 5-speed manual transmission variant. No other changes are visible. There is a possibility that the Xenon facelift seen in the leaked images could also be the export variant considering the presence of the Ford Ranger which is possibly kept as a benchmarking vehicle. The AMT variant would clearly be priced higher than the non AMT version. It was suppose to launch in the festive season, but due to unknown reasons Tata shifted the launch to next year.
