Tata Motors’ Sanand plant strike enters fourth week

The ongoing employees' strike at the Tata Motors Sanand plant has entered the 22nd day. Around 400 employees at the plant are on strike since February 22 demanding the reinstatement of 28 suspended workers.

The employees had announced that they will be staging a protest in front of the district collector’s office today. Around 22 trade and employees’ unions had pledged support to the workers' protest. Around 500 trade union activists and supporters were expected to join the protest meet.
