Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 seen testing in Chennai, to feature twin-cylinder 750 cc motor

Royal Enfield’s upcoming Continental GT 750 was recently spotted testing in Chennai. A bunch of pictures clicked by a BikesMedia correspondent, give a glimpse of the new parallel-twin engine with throttle bodies, twin-pod instrument console and more detailing. As the name suggests, it is expected to feature a new 750 cc parallel-twin engine. While details have been limited, pictures of the testing mule point to the fact that the final production model is almost ready to go.  Set to become the next flagship model, the new 750 cc parallel-twin engine will feature fuel injection and will be oil-cooled. There is a small radiator on the front of the engine on the double-cradle chassis. The engine is speculated to produce 45-50 bhp of power. The bike will be part of the Continental GT family and is said to be similar to the 535 cc Royal Enfield Café racer.  The bike comes with a clubman handlebar and a twin-pod, part-analogue, part-digital instrument console with a small, digital screen below the speedometer. The chassis, designed by Harris Performance, will also be similar but wider to fit the larger twin-cylinder engine. There are also a pair of dual exhausts with the final drive chain and sprockets placed on the left side. The expected launch time period is not yet confirmed but if the company is aggressively testing the bike, it shouldn’t take too long.
