Piaggio is bringing the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani edition to India on 25 October
Apart from the Vespa 946 EA, Piaggio India will also introduce the Vespa 70th Anniversary Edition on the very same day.

Love Vespa or simply hate their classic vintage looks, you will love this Vespa 946 Emporio Armani edition that Piaggio India is bringing to the country on 25 October. While its neo-retro design and paintwork will grab eyeballs at launch, Piaggio is also bringing along something special.
That something special would be the Vespa 70th Anniversary Edition, which Piaggio India plans to introduce on the very same day.
Piaggio will be bringing in the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani (AE) edition as a CBU. The same was commissioned in 2015 to mark the 40th anniversary of Georgio Armani and the 130th anniversary of the Piaggio Group. Indeed it can't any more Italian than this!
With so much Italian on board, it has to come down to the details, and the Vespa 946 AE has plenty of them. It still includes the aluminium cladding but there a new satin finish has been produced using galvanic treatments when it comes to the finer details like hooks, carrier, the logo below the seat and much more.
Adding to the neo retro look, you get a LED headlamp, tail light and indicators. There's also an LCD instrument cluster that completes the look.
Coming to the innards, the Vespa 946 AE is powered by a 125cc single-clyinder, four-stroke engine which packs in electronic injection. What you get is 11.7BHP of power and 10.3Nm torque. Being a new-age scooter, this one sticks to current day automatic transmission. Pricing details are expected to be announced at the launch event.
