New-gen Hyundai Elantra launched at Rs 12.99 lakh in India
Gets a new 2.0-litre petrol engine and comes equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity

Hyundai India has launched the sixth-generation Elantra in India. The 2016 Hyundai Elantra is available in five trims " S, SX, SX AT, SX(O) and SX(O) AT. Priced between Rs 12.99-19.19 lakh (ex-Delhi), the Elantra is based on a new platform and competes with the likes of the Chevrolet Cruze, Skoda Octavia and the Renault Fluence. The premium sedan comes with an option between 1.6-litre diesel and a new 2.0-litre petrol engine. These engines are mated to a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission.
