After hearing about the new 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander **coming to India** , the Japanese car-maker has quietly announced the all new 2017 Pajero Sport Select Plus. The 4x2 automatic model is priced at Rs 28.88 lakhs while the 4x4 manual version is priced at Rs 29.28 lakhs (both prices ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new Select Plus version primarily features cosmetic changes and some equipment changes on top of the standard Pajero Sport. The new equipment list on the Select Plus includes cruise control, LED daytime running lamps, electric outside rearview mirrors, high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, a chiller box and DVD players mounted in the front seat headrests. Even the alloy wheels and front grille get a black treatment. There are also chrome moldings on the door handles and the outside rear view mirrors. The manual gearbox, four-wheel-drive model develops 400 Nm of torque, and the two-wheel-drive automatic develops 350 Nm. The Pajero has been great seller in the past, but the facelift seems like an attempt by Mitsubishi to compete with the stiff competition offered by the new Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner.
Mitsubishi has launched a new facelift version of the Pajero Sport with added equipment and cosmetic changes.
