Mahindra has re-introduced the Scorpio Adventure limited edition for 2017. The car maker had announced a similar model last year while the new 2017 edition will based on the top-end S10 variant. Pricing starting at Rs 13.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the 4x2 variant while the 4x4 version will cost Rs 14.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The limited edition comes with only cosmetic upgrades with mechanical parts remaining the same. The new limited edition will be offered in a new white and silver dual-tone paint scheme along with gunmetal-finished alloy wheels and new body decals. Other features include new smoked tail lamps and outside rear view mirror with integrated turn indicators.
The cabin also sees some upgrade including a new faux leather black upholstery with blue fabric inserts and a 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a reverse camera system.
As mentioned above, there are no changes in the engine specifications. This means you still get the 2.2 litre four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine that produces 120 bhp of power 280 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. Mahindra will only offer the Adventure edition on the manual version.
According to the company, the Scorpio has been one of the most sucessful products and has a high demand from tier II and III markets with over 4000 units every month.
