Its finally here! Hyundai has just launched its all-new Tucson SUV that will now sit between the smaller Creta and the larger Santa Fe in the Indian market. The New Hyundai Tucson is priced at Rs 18.99 lakh as the base price for the petrol version, while the diesel burners start from Rs 21.59 lakh. The much-awaited mid-size SUV packs in quite a punch and more importantly comes in a number of trims and variants.  The petrol variants are priced at: 2WD MT: Rs 18,99,000 2WD AR GL: Rs 21,79,000 The diesel variants are priced at: 2WD MT: Rs 21,59,000 2WD AT GL: 23,48,000 2WD AT GLS: 24,99,000 Both petrol and diesel versions of the vehicle come with a 2.0-litre engines and are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The petrol engines churn out 156PS at 6,200 rpm while the diesel delivers 185PS of power at 4,000 rpm.  As you may have noticed, there are three trim levels with the top-of-the-line GLS version being offered only in the diesel option.  While the exteriors are new, fresh and European (similar the new Elantra ) there are plenty of goodies inside as well. Hyundai has packed in an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with navigation), CarPlay, Android Auto, a Smart park assist system, electric parking brake, a compass on the the rear view mirror and front and rear parking sensors with a rear parking camera. The vehicle also features Hyundai Hands Free Smart Power Tailgate system as well.
