South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has announced a price increase of upto Rs 30,000 for all vehicles in its product line in India. The company cited challenging marketing conditions as the reason for this increase in costs.
Rakesh Srivastava, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Hyundai Motor India, said in a statement, “In these challenging market conditions, we are constrained to consider the price increase on account of factors like increase in cost of components, weak rupee etc. The proposed price increase up to Rs 30,000 will be effective from January 2016 across all models including Elite and Creta.”
We will be getting a more detailed release on the exact increments on each model, and will update this page with the information shortly. So watch this space.
