Hyundai brings Creta 1st Anniversary Edition and two other variants to India

After selling 1,25,000 units of its new crossover globally, Hyundai has introduced three new variants of the Creta in India.

After selling 1,25,000 units of its new crossover globally, Hyundai has introduced three new variants of the Creta in India. The new additions include the Creta 1st Anniversary Edition, a new Executive E+ petrol variant, and an S+ diesel automatic. To add to this, the company now also has a new Earth Brown colour across all variants of the crossover.

Firstly, we have the Creta 1st Anniversary Edition that arrives with the maximum number of goodies and is also the most expensive one in the lot priced at Rs 12,23,851 and Rs 13,76,699 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

It features a slight new look on the outside with dual-tone exteriors and gloss finished black roof, C-pillars and a rear spoiler (integrated). There are 17-inch diamond cut allow wheels and a black shark-fin antenna at the back. Completing the updated look are new graphics on body, C-pillars along with a silver skid plates. The vehicle is based on the SX+ variant of the petrol and diesel versions.

Second, we have a diesel automatic with the S+ variant. It packs in a 1.6-litre CRDi VGT engine mated to a 6-speed automatic. And like all automatics, it is pricey at Rs 13,58,697 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Last but not the least, we have the Executive E+ petrol variant that is priced at Rs 9,99,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) and packs in plenty of features like a 5-inch touchscreen entertainment system, steering mounted controls and tweeters. Other minor touches include roof rails, electrically adjustable Outside Rear View Mirrors (OVRMs) that also feature integrated turn indicators. Inside, passengers at rear seats also get rear AC vents.
