Autonomous car isn’t only a subject of science-fiction anymore; autonomous car is now a reality too. Tesla has half-launched it with mixed success, Apple is reportedly trying to bite the pie, and there are more than 30 carmakers racing towards making cars self-driving. Now Ford Motor Co. has joined in the race. Ford president and CEO Mark Fields announced the plan for high-volume, fully autonomous ride-sharing vehicles by 2021.
