The bike has similar engine specifications as the previous Gixxer variants. Suzuki Gixxer SF is powered by a 4-stroke, 1-cylinder, air-cooled 155 cc engine. The engine produces a torque of 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm and gives an output of 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm. The Suzuki Gixxer SF has a 5-speed transmission and also features front and rear disk brakes. The bike is available in two color variants, Metallic Trition Blue and Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matte Black.

The curb weight of the bike with ABS is 141 Kg and without ABS the bike weighs 140 Kg. The fuel tank is capable of holding 12 liters of fuel and the ground clearance of the bike is 160 mm.

Other features of the bike include telescopic front suspension, Automatic Headlamp On (AHO), and Fi fuel injection that allows for "optimal flow of fuel" into the engine.

Suzuki ECO performance, a feature only available in Suzuki-branded motorbikes, is supposed to increase the overall performance of the engine. According to the company, it improves combustion, reduces friction losses and optimises the cooling system to increase the overall performance of the engine.
