Nissan India today launched a limited edition variant of the Micra called the
**Nissan Micra** Fashion. The Micra fashion was launched at a price of Rs 6.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) which is approximately Rs 10,000 more than Micra XL CVT, the variant on which the edition is based on. **Nissan** claims that the Micra Fashion edition will be available only as long as the festive season and will be available in two exterior colour options — fashion black and fashion orange. Under the hood, we get a three-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 77 PS of power and 104 Nm or torque. The Nissan Micra Fashion Edition will be available only with an automatic CVT transmission as the variant is based on the XL CVT variant. report, the new design elements in the Micra Fashion include new sporty decals on the sides of the hatchback and off-centre strip that runs across the car from the bonnet to the boot. The theme for the two colour variants was decided as part of a collaboration with popular fashion label, United Colours of Benetton (UCB). The Nissan Micra Fashion Edition will be available in two colour options.[/caption] Inside, the Micra Fashion Edition comes the Nissan Connect platform along with connectivity options for smartphones via a 6.2-inch touchscreen display. It also gets black seats with orange stitching, new floor mats and designer headrests with UCB branding.
