Hero Motocorp launches the 2018 Super Splendor with redesigned bodywork at Rs 57,190

**Hero Motocorp** has launched the new 125 cc 2018 Super Splendor in India. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 57,190 (ex-showroom, Delhi and brings a redesigned body. The Super Splendor was **unveiled in December** by the company. [caption id=“attachment_4383219” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] 2018 Hero Super Splendor.[/caption] Super Splendor is powered by a 124.7 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 11 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine of the bike is mated to a 4-speed transmission. Buyers will get 130 mm drum brakes on both the front and rear wheels. New changes from the earlier edition of the bike includes a new seat, LED treatment for the tail lamp and redesigned bodywork. 2018 model also gets some sporty new graphics. Other features retained on the bike includes telescopic suspension on the front and twin hydraulic shock absorbers on the rear end of the motorcycle.

The dimensions of the bike includes 1,995 mm in length, 735 mm in width and 1,095 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,265 mm and a seat height of 785 mm. The weight stands at 125 kg and comes with a 13 litre fuel tank. Hero’s new 2018 Super Splendor is available in five colour variants CB Red, Heavy Grey, Black with Fiery Red, Black with Electric Purple and Graphite Black. All the three motorcycles including the Super Splendor are more powerful than their previous versions, the Super Splendor is 27 percent more powerful, while the Passion Pro and Passion X Pro are 12 percent more powerful as compared to their previous versions. They also received mild styling tweaks, revised graphics and redesigned instrument clusters on the cosmetic front.
