Auto Expo 2018: Tata Motors unveils the H5X SUV concept, to join the Tata lineup later this year

Tata took the wraps off its visually stunning concept SUV called H5X at Auto Expo 2018. The car is set to join the Tata Motors lineup this year and it will be the first car to be manufactured using Tata's new Impact Design 2.0 design language.

The SUV has slim, high-set headlights on the front and the lower bumper and fog lamps are joined in a 'tri-arrow pattern', as claimed by Tata. The car has huge 22-inch wheels with massive wheel arches, giving the car a lot of ground clearance.

The car has plush leather interiors that are worthy of competing with many of its European counterparts. The dashboard sees a touchscreen infotainment system which should provide many connectivity options. At the extreme rear of the car we see that there are only two seats, however, in the final product we are expected to see a three-seater arrangement.

As this is just an official unveiling, there is no word yet on pricing or its performance specs, but the car will come in a five and seven-seater variant. Whether the final product resembles the concept is another matter entirely. At any rate this is one Tata SUV that is just a feast for the eyes.
