We have seen plenty of new motorcycle launches from big names in the industry at the EICMA 2016 and Triumph did not want to be a spectator for sure. The British motorcycle marque, revealed its new Triumph Street Scrambler that adds to the long list of products of the Street Twin family. Triumph Street Scrambler (1) The new Street Scrambler surely makes a style statement with its retro look and minimal cladding which basically consists of the the tank, the rear mud guard, the front mudguard and guard for the high-mounted exhaust which contributes to the Scrambler look. Triumph Street Scrambler (2) You basically get a Triumph Street Twin a retro kit attached to the same 900cc parallel-twin engine. There are dual purpose Metzeler Tourance tyres on the front and back wheels. There is a 19-inch tyre on the front while a 17-inch tyre with uprated brakes does its duty at the back. The shock absorbers get more travel and the handle bars get wider maintaining the Scrambler look. Triumph Street Scrambler (4) Coming to the tech, the Street Scrambler gets switchable ABS, switchable traction control, a torque-assisted clutch and ride-by-wire. There’s a twin pod instrument cluster up top. As of now Triumph has not confirmed if its Scrambler is heading to India, but considering that Ducati and Moto Guzzi already offers a few models, this one should be headed our way soon.
