Nitin Gadkari, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister has announced that the central government will be investing Rs 25,000 crore for developing roads and bridges in Assam over the next two to three years. He laid the foundation stone for four road projects having a total length of 82.6 kilometres and worth around Rs 1,200 crore.
“We have given prime focus on developing road and water infrastructure in the Northeast and Assam. For this, the centre will invest Rs 25,000 crore through NHAI, PWD and NHIDCL,” said Gadkari at a press…
