BMW introduces the M760Li in India priced at a whopping Rs 2.27 crores
The BMW M760Li comes with a massive 6.6-litre V12 engine along with the company's M-performance package.
BMW's most powerful car is here. The German car-maker has announced its top of the line M760Li xDrive for the India market. Apart from being the first 7-series to sport the 'M' performance badge, it also features a V12 engine and BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system as standard.
The BMW M760Li is powered by a massive 6.6-litre, twelve-cylinder Turbo petrol engine that can produce 601 bhp and a peak torque of 800 Nm. This allows the car to go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. The engine is paired to BMW's 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox and with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system, power is sent to all four wheels.
As for the design, BMW has given the car some special 'M' treatment with a special Sports package and design characteristics. The front bumper has been updated and includes a larger three-part air intake.
There is also some chrome treatment both above and below the air intake. You also get 20-inch M double-spoke 760 M alloy wheels, a new quad exhaust system with a pair of twin pipes, the M logo all around and of course the V12 badge.
The interiors are as luxurious as the outside as you get a headliner in Alcantara design, door sill finishers in Aluminium high finish with illuminated V12 insignia. You also get premium wooden inlays for the seat-belt outlets, armrests and roof handle in the rear, as well as a BMW-style leather-wrapped steering wheel.
NGO Environmental Action Germany (DUH) says Daimler and BMW need to set more ambitious climate goals, including ending the sale of fossil-fuel cars by 2030.
As per the company, the smartphone will become the slimmest phone in the Galaxy M-series with a thickness of 7.4 mm.
