German carmaker BMW had updated its popular 3-series in India last year and now announces a facelift version of the more luxury version - the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo. The new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo (3GT) has been given a mid-life facelift and will be available with a price tag of 43.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new BMW Gran Turismo facelift comes in two variants on the diesel version; the Sport variant which is priced at Rs 43.30 lakh while the Luxury version costs Rs 46.50 lakh. The company has also announced a petrol variant of the 3GT which will come at a price of Rs 47.50 lakh.  The exterior updates on the new facelift include full LED headlamps along with LED daytime running light setup. The headlamps get a camera-based adaptive assistance system for better and efficient lighting. Fog lamps LEDs now come as standard. Other minor updates include larger air vents on the front and rear bumper, and 17-inch alloys with 225/55 R17 tyres as standard.The frameless door design and the electronically deployable spoiler on the bootlid are still present.  The 2.0-litre diesel engine produces 190bhp of peak power and 400Nm of peak power. The engine comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a rear wheel drive setup. The petrol version of the GT, the 330i, comes with a 2-litre turbocharged, inline 4 engine that produces 252bhp. The 330i is said to reach 100km/h in just 6.1 seconds. Recenlty the company announced the new 5-series, which is expected to arrive in India by next year.
