Nissan has started pre-booking of its latest sports car, the GT-R, in India. The announcement came on Thursday by the company where interested customers can pre-order a 2017 Nissan GT-R by paying a deposit of Rs 25 lakh.  “The 2017 GT-R will bring more excitement to the Nissan range in India. GT-R represents the pinnacle of Nissan’s driving performance and this latest model has become even more powerful and luxurious,” said Nissan India Operations President, Guillaume Sicard.  The latest GT-R is Nissan’s flagship sports car which is powered by a 3.8-litre V6 twin-turbocharged engine. It can produce 552 bhp at 6,800 rpm and 632 Nm of torque. This kind of power allows it to go from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.  The first GT-R was unveiled in 2007 as a replacement for the iconic Nissan Skyline GT-R which is now officially out of production. The new 2017 version of the GT-R was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show back in March and should officially be available in India by the end of 2016.
