India’s largest and official fashion week has returned to Mumbai at the iconic Jio World Convention Center from 13th-17th March. As we gear up for yet another action-packed season of Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI, energies are at an all-time high.

Fashion Meets Sport: The opening evening on day 1 features an electrifying fusion of fashion and sport, featuring a friendly polo match between two teams. Anchored by a unique collaboration, the event will culminate in a captivating showcase by renowned polo brand La Martina and highlighting a special capsule collection crafted by the visionary designer Rajesh Pratap Singh. This innovative blend promises to redefine the boundaries of style and athleticism.

Streetstyle takes over LFW X FDCI: The craze for streetwear takes over fashion week this season as All You Can Street will be exhibiting their collection on Day 1. This season will also see the debut of the multinational footwear and apparel company, Skechers, that is set to team up with a celebrated Indian designer present a quirky collection with streetwear at the centre of the association. For the first time, GQ will collaborate with FDCI to showcase an all-men’s street collection with emerging designers Jaywalking, Countrymade and Rishtha by Arjun Saluja transporting you to their whimsical world of menswear fashion.

Fashion X Beauty Trends: The Atelier kicks off with the debut of Lakmē presents LFW Edition: Fashion X Beauty Trends, curated by Perclers Paris—a trend magazine highlighting the eagerly awaited 2024/25 Global Trends in fashion, beauty, design, and lifestyle.

Collaboration to watch out for: The platform, this season has onboarded new partners such as Skechers who will be showcasing with a renowned Indian designer, leading beer brand Corona partners with luxe-boho brand Saaksha & Kinni from their debut swimwear line ‘Hana’ with mandala designs creatively displayed at the showcase, LG will be associating with the dynamic duo Gauri and Nainika to present a collection that weaves in their newly launched refrigerator line. The partners offer a fresh perspective in fashion and lifestyle and bring for the audiences never seen before showcases and designs.

Spotlight on Sustainability: India’s biggest sustainability award, R|Elan presents Circular Design Challenge will see the winner of its global edition, ‘Without’ by Anish Malpani present his collection this season. Renowned for spearheading important conversations on sustainable fashion in India, Sustainable Fashion Day will also feature a diverse array of showcases, including presentations by Yavi, TIL, Inca, Gaurang, Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta, Urvashi Kaur. The day will see a distinctive showcase with the coming together of Tea Culture of the World in association with Chola, who will be bringing to stage different elements from around the world right to the runway. Dazzling Collaborative Displays: A Fusion of Brands and Designers: Witness an unparalleled convergence of brands and designers as long-standing partners of the platform join forces for highly anticipated showcases. Experience the seamless blend of fashion and innovation with NEXA Presents Shantnu Nikhil, the R|ElanTM X JJV Kapurthala showcases to the audiences an amalgamation of sophistication with contemporary flare , Lakmē Salon presents an exciting showcase bringing to the runway the five elements of earth with Geisha Designs, and Ajio Luxe presents a unique collection AK|OK by Anamika Khanna that transposes one to a journey in rural India. Prepare to be captivated by the dynamic presentations of two shows by One Infinite, featuring a lineup of multiple designers including Varun Chakkilam, Vika by Arvind Ampula, Sakshi Bhat, Sejal Kamdar, Charu & Vasundhara, alongside various showstoppers.

Nurturing new and emerging talent: Continuing the tradition of talent discovery and harboring emerging and young talent, the season has showcases planned spanning through the 5 days of fashion including INIFD presents GenNext, NEXA presents ‘The Spotlight’, INIFD Launchpad and FDCI X Pearl Academy First Cut giving a platform to designers to showcase their talent to the fashion community.

Menswear at Fashion Week: This season, audiences are set to witness an array of menswear collections take centre stage at LFW X FDCI. From the GQ Men’s Edit featuring Jaywalking, Countrymade and Rishtha by Arjun Saluja, to Rajesh Pratap Singh’s capsule collection in collaboration with La Martina along with Shantnu Nikhil, Siddhartha Tytler and the INIFD presents GenNext winner Rosani are set to transport you into a new world of fashion.

Experiences at LFW X FDCI: After captivating audiences at the Cannes Film Festival, the indulgent Magnum Chocolate Dipping Bar is set to make its grand debut in India. Attendees can indulge in five exclusive Magnum flavor creations inspired by trailblazing Indian designers like Anamika Khanna, Rahul Mishra, Ritika Mirchandani, Saaksha & Kinni and Siddartha Tytler. Magnum will also release two limited-edition offerings inspired by Magnum – a bespoke perfume curated in collaboration with Designer Ritika Mirchandani, and a Chocolate Temptation Lip Mousse in collaboration with the House of Lakmē.
