Everyone from gorillas to corgis are doing covers of Carly Rae Jepson’s runaway hit “Call me maybe”. And just when you thought there was no possible cover left to make the song go viral AGAIN, the US Olympic swimming team steps in to prove us all wrong.
A painstakingly shot, fun video that features everything from underwater dance moves to cute hand actions, the video went viral on YouTube within hours of being uploaded. In just three days it has garnered 2.2 million views. And yes Michael Phelps makes an appearance too!

It’s a great way to combine two of the things being most talked about online at the moment, and the US team has shown us all that being a part of one of the most competitive Olympics teams in the world doesn’t mean you can’t have fun at the same time!
