In less than a week from now, the votes will be cast for the 2016 election for the election of the President of the United States of America. In less than a week, all the campaigning, the vicious political battles, the accusations and the hilarious remarks will lead to that one moment when we know who the next President of the US will be.
So right now would be a pretty good time to look back and say: What a roller coaster ride it has been. It's time to look back at the only moments about the US election campaigns most people will probably remember in a few months from now.
It's time to look back at some of the most memorable from the US election campaigns, the ones most people will probably remember in a few months from now.
That's right. It's time to look at ten of the funniest moments from the US election 2016 campaign:
1. Trump interviews Trump
There are many reasons why Jimmy Fallon is one of the best TV show hosts in the world. He is genuine, extremely witty and a great mimic. And probably the funniest moment during the campaign for the US election was when Fallon, dressed as Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, interviewed (drum roll) Donald Trump on The Tonight Show.
What makes this interview classic is that Fallon managed to perfectly capture that trait about Trump which many people think is narcissism.
2. Hillary's love for fireworks
All of us love fireworks. But Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's reaction to the fireworks display at the Democratic convention in July this year was more like the reaction we'd have if we suddenly saw a giant unicorn fly across the sky.
We are really curious to find out whether Hillary knew that there was going to be a fireworks display. If she did know, we'll have to admit that Hillary Clinton is the best actor in the world.
3. Obama responds to Trump's tweet
US President Barack Obama showed the world he not only knows how to take criticism but also how to respond to it when he read out the tweets criticising him during the 'Mean Tweets' segment of the show Jimmy Kimmel Live.
One of those tweets was obviously from Donald Trump, who called Obama "the worst president in the history of the United States". Obama's response to this vitriolic remark will have you shouting, "Damn son!"
4. Trump's 'big fan of Hindu' moment
A lot of interesting things took place at the event held by the Republican Hindu Coalition in New Jersery where Donald Trump was the chief guest. We had an act in which Indian dancers were attacked by terrorists with lightsabers. We had a pamphlet in which Hillary Clinton was shown conspiring with Sonia Gandhi to "get Modi".
But the star act was performed by Trump himself when he proclaimed that he was a "big fan of Hindu". Did we mention that Trump also implied that the Indian parliament was in Mumbai?
5. Hillary's shimmy
When Donald Trump attacked Hillary Clinton's "temperament" during the first US presidential debate, he really would not have expected Hillary to respond with a shimmy.
But Hillary decided that the best way to respond to Trump's nastiness was to show exactly how much Trump's vicious remarks mattered to her by, well, shimmying. There's even a song based on this moment.
6. 'Ab ki baar, Trump sarkar'
When this video first came out, we could not believe if it was genuine. Would Donald Trump really be that desperate for votes that he would copy the 'Ab ki baar, Modi sarkar' slogan used by the BJP for the Lok Sabha polls in 2014?
Well, PTI certainly reported that he did borrow from that slogan. And then, Jimmy Kimmel made fun of the Trump ad.
So, as unbelievable as it sounds, here is a video of Donald Trump telling Indian-Americans to vote for 'Trump sarkar':
7. The Hillary laughter remix
We really do not know whether the person who created this video is a supporter of Donald Trump or does not like Hillary Clinton much. But we know this: Someone meticulously put together many moments of Hillary laughing and saying things during (and maybe before) her campaign and then remixed it.
We dare you not to laugh even once while watching this video:
8. Machine-gun bacon with Ted Cruz
If you thought Donald Trump's actions and words were outrageous, you should really watch this video of Ted Cruz, a candidate for the Republican nomination for President who suspended his campaign after losing to Trump, teaching people how to cook bacon with a rifle.
It's like watching a very, very bad one-minute remake of a Rambo movie. Because who needs gun control anyway? Right, Ted?
9. Bernie Sanders showing off his dance moves
#FeelTheBern may have been more than just a hashtag to support Bernie Sanders, who had earlier campaigned against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.
Sanders, in an interview with TV show host Ellen DeGeneres, showed us all that you can indeed 'feel the Bern' by watching some of Sanders' dance moves. In this segment of the interview, Sanders talked with DeGeneres on a variety of topics, including his hair. You can't help but smile by the time the video ends.
10. Waka Flocka Flame's candidacy
Sometimes, you have to wonder: With a person like Donald Trump (who wants to build a wall between the US and Mexico and make Mexico pay for it) running for President, can anybody run for President?
Look no further for that answer, because in April 2015, American rapper Waka Flocka Flame had announced that he was running for President. And he had said that the first thing he would do when he becomes President would be to legalise marijuana.
We wonder if Flame was smoking some when he came up with this video:
