Lahore: PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif administered an oath to over 3,000 people seeking his party's ticket for the upcoming polls in Pakistan, whereby they pledged to fight against corruption.
Sharif sought the pledge from ticket-seekers looking to contest elections as PML-N candidates who had come to his palatial Raiwind residence yesterday.

"Commit yourselves to work for eradicating corruption from Pakistan," Sharif told them.
"Raise your hand and say after me: I will fight against corruption and eradicate this menace from my country.
Praising the resolve of his younger brother, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to fight corruption, the former PM claimed: "No one can raise a finger at the Punjab government with regard to corruption in any project."
