New York: Authorities are reporting a fire on the 88th floor of the New York City skyscraper that’s being constructed on the site of the twin towers that were destroyed in the 11 September attacks.

The fire department says the fire was reported shortly before 8 am (EDT) at One World Trade Center in Manhattan and emergency workers are on the scene.
Authorities say there are no reports of injuries.
Motorists should expect heavy traffic delays and street closures in the area.
