Colombo: Sri Lanka on Thursday said that a British channel video featuring the images of the alleged cold-blooded killing of LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran’s 12-year-old son would not be part of the official process of the ongoing UN Human Rights Council sessions in Geneva. Sri Lanka’s Ambassador in Geneva Ravinatha Ariyasinha told media that he had met the Chairman of the UNHRC after his letter of protest on Monday. ![PrabhakaranSon_Channel4](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/PrabhakaranSon_Channel44.jpg) "I met the President of the UNHRC Remigusz Henczel to protest about the screening of the video. He assured me that it would not reflect the official position of the Council," Aryasinha said. Henczel, however, said the “organisers of side events take full responsibility for the content of their events.” The US is to move a second resolution against Sri Lanka at the end of the current session following up from last year’s resolution which was backed by India. The British Channel 4 documentary titled ‘No War Zone – the killing fields of Sri Lanka’ shows Balachandran Prabakaran sitting in a bunker, alive and unharmed in the custody of Sri Lankan troops. Another picture which was taken a few hours later shows the boy’s body lying on the ground, his chest pierced by bullets. Sri Lankan Army dismissed as “lies, half truths, rumours and numerous forms of speculation” the pictures featured in the documentary. PTI
