Mamata Banerjee yesterday refused to support Congress' Presidential candidates - Pranab Mukherjee and Hamid Ansari. Along with Mulayam Singh of the Samajwadi Party she proposed three different candidates - APJ Abdul Kalam, PM Manmohan Singh and Somnath Chatterjee. This new Mamata-Mulayam alliance opens up new possibilities, including an early Parliamentary elections.
