Phakiso Mochochoko (R), Head of Jurisdiction at The Hague based court, and Shamiso Mbizvo, a Hague based International Criminal Court (ICC) cooperation adviser, speak at a press conference on July 26, 2012 in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi. Prosecution witnesses in the trial of four prominent Kenyans set to appear before the ICC are under increasing threat and intimidation, Mochochoko, a top ICC official said Thursday. Mochochoko called on the government of Kenya to prosecute individuals threatening witnesses. The international war crimes court in The Hague ruled earlier this year that four Kenyans will be tried on charges of fomenting deadly post-poll violence in 2007-08, in which over 1,100 people were killed.
