This NOAA satellite image taken Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:45 AM EDT shows dense cloud cover over the Northeast US and Mid-Atlantic into the Ohio Valley and eastern Great Lakes as a storm system will be developing off the New England Coast and linger for the first half of the weekend. Fair weather exists over the southeast US into the Tennessee Valley and western Great Lakes and Mississippi Valley.
