Serbia's representative Dejan Pavicevic addresses the media in Pristina on June 17, 2013. Serbia and Kosovo on Monday exchanged liaison officers making another step forward in normalisation of ties between Belgrade and Pristina, the key condition for moving closer to a European Union membership. The two officers are tasked to facilitate communication and monitor implementation of an EU-brokered deal on improving relations between former foes. Serbia's representative in Pristina Dejan Pavicevic and Kosovo's one in Belgrade Lulzim Peci symbolically began their work at noon by briefly addressing journalists before European Union's missions in the two capitals, where they would have their bureaus.
