He ruled Broadway in the late 1990s when he had three shows running simultaneously, a nearly four-year run for "Jekyll and Hyde," "The Scarlett Pimpernel" and "The Civil War," which all were nominated for Tony Awards. Now, Wildhorn's eighth Broadway show, a revamped revival of "Jekyll and Hyde," opens on April 18.
