This 1960 publicity photo provided by MGM shows director, Robert Wise, center, with first assistant director, Robert Relyea, right, on set during the production of the film, "Westside Story," in New York. Relyea, a film producer and assistant director whose credits included The Magnificent Seven, and collaborated with Steve McQueen on several films, including Bullitt, Le Mans and The Reivers, has died. A spokeswoman for Relyea says he died at 82 on March 5, 2013 of natural causes in Los Angeles.
