Jazz singer Norah Jones, the multiple Grammy winning daughter of sitar legend Ravi Shankar, is all excited about performing at the upcoming Oscars ahead of her first India tour in March.

The 33-year-old is set to perform the song <em>Everybody Needs A Best Friend</em> from the soundtrack of Ted at the Academy awards ceremony on Sunday.

The track was co-written by Norah and Seth MacFarlane, the director of Ted, and has been nominated in the Best Original Song category.
