Kolkata, Apr 29 (PTI) Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Kunal Ghosh, against whom Saradha Group CMD Sudipta Sen has levelled allegations in a letter to CBI, was today summoned by the police for questioning.

Commissioner (Detective Department) Arnab Ghosh rang him up and wanted to talk to him. He wanted to talk to me and I have come, the TMC MP said.

Kolkata: A Trinamool Congress supporter was killed during a clash by a group of assailants allegedly led by a party municipal councillor over a land dispute on the eastern fringes of Kolkata on Wednesday, police said.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee ordered the arrest of the party councillor, while the opposition Left Front said after left cadres and the Congress, now sections in the Trinamool were becoming victims of the violence perpetrated by the ruling party.
