Charlie Hebdo

Charlie Hebdo is a French satirical weekly newspaper, featuring cartoons, reports, polemics, and jokes. On 7 January 2015, three Islamist gunmen opened fire at the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo, killing twelve, including staff cartoonists Charb, Cabu, Honoré, Tignous and Wolinski, economist Bernard Maris and two police officers standing guard at the magazine, and wounding eleven, four of them seriously.
