Strange things seem to be afoot with Google’s little news crawlers. Google News, which is the one stop destination for many netizens who want to know what is trending in news right now, has not updated any of its stories for hours.
The top news story in the Google News India section is 14 hours old, with all the stories on the page of a similar ‘age’. Nor is the issue only limited to India. A quick search proved that this was also the case in many other country editions as well.

The top story in Google news US, is seven hours old, while the top story in Australia is 18 hours old. A little closer to home, the Pakistan edition shows a 14-hour-old story, while the Singapore edition displays a story that is 12 hours old.
In short, all signs point to a problem.
