Facebook has revealed its most checked-in locations and songs list for 2012 and the data for India is rather interesting.
According to Facebook, people from metros in India tend to check in more, in comparison to other Indian cities. Also Delhi’s citizens are much active when it comes to checking-in on a location and sharing on Facebook.
No wonder, Select City Walk, in South Delhi is the most checked-in location for Facebook India 2012. Number 2 on the list is the Golden Temple in Amritsar, followed by Gurudwara Shri Bangla Sahib. India Gata is at number 4, while, Connaught Place is number 5. Chandigarh famous Sector 17 market, is number 7 on the list. Ambience mall from Delhi, Inorbit mall from Mumbai and The Great India Place in Delhi NCR are also within the overall top 15.
Café 1 Boulevard in Delhi, beat Hard Rock Café, Delhi, Leopold Café, Mumbai and Toit, Bangalore, to claim the top spot for cafes and restaurants, as the most checked-in location for 2012. Sukhdev’s Dhaba at Murthal, took the number 4 most checked in restaurant for 2012.

When it comes to tops songs shared on Facebook in 2012, Bollywood dominates. The most shared song on Facebook was Tum Hi Ho Bandhu from Cocktail. Daaru Desi from Cocktail was number 2 while Pani Da Rang from Vicky Donor was at number 3. Cocktail seems to have done well on Facebook.
