Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 full specifications leaked online

by Aug 28, 2012

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is due to be released tomorrow ahead of the IFA 2012 in Berlin but the full specifications of the smartphone have already been leaked online. The Seoul Newspaper, a South-Korean daily has published an exclusive story highlighting key features of the smartphone.

According the story, the Galaxy Note 2 aka model number GT-N7100, will have a 5.5-inch super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. Most importantly, it will come with Android 4.1 or Jelly Bean OS and not Ice-Cream Sandwich.  It will also have a 1.4 Ghz quad-core processor, and will come in both 16 or 32 GB version built-in memory.

The South-Korean report pretty much confirms all the rumours that have been going on about the Samsung Galaxy Note. It has also been reported that the Note II could have a thin, unbreakable plane display (UBP) and the phone could be much thinner.

The South-Korean report also says that the design of the Note 2 has been rounded off at the edges. Wondering if the design change has anything to do with the recent Apple judgement?
