Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of another version of the Samsung Galaxy S4, the Samsung GALAXY S4 zoom which has a 4.3-inch screen and a 16 megapixel camera.
Unlike the original S4 which has a 13 megapixel rear camera, this S4 Zoom has a 16 Megapixel rear camera with CMOS Sensor, 10x Optical Zoom, OIS and Xenon Flash. It pretty much looks like a regular digital camera from the back and the phone is big and heavy, at 208 grams and 15.4 millimeters thick — almost double the thickness of the original Galaxy S4.
The smartphone also has a new feature that allows users to share photos while in the middle of a phone call. Samsung has called it the Zoom Ring: Simply put, if you are in the middle of a phone call and you want to share something that instant, you can twist the Zoom Ring which will activate the In-Call Photo Share feature, letting you capture and send an image directly via MMS to whoever you are talking to.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom has a 1.5GHz dual-Core Processor, runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) has a 1.9 Megapixel front camera, 4.3-inch qHD screen with 960x540 resolution. It has 8GB Internal memory (User memory approximately 5GB) and microSD slot with 64GB as the limit and 1.5GB RAM.
